Declan grew up in Limerick, Ireland. As a child he enjoyed the latest pop music including The Pet Shop Boys and Madonna. At the age of 16 he moved to London to start a new life. When I met Declan he was working for London Underground as a Train Driver. I've never met someone with such a warm heart and a beautiful soul. We were together for nearly 8 years and I loved him every day. We traveled to Brussels and Amsterdam and he loved those places. On July 31st 2011, after being in hospital for three days, my baby left me to be with his mum and dad in heaven. I held his hand as he slipped away. I miss you so much my baby.
